The Sangomar field which contains both oil and gas, is located 100 kilometres south of Dakar. Work on the Sangomar Field Development commenced in early 2020 and first oil production is targeted in 2023.

About the Role:

Based in our Dakar office, The Logistics Coordinator will assist Logistics team plan and execute the Sangomar Development by providing safe, efficient and reliable services at the lowest total cost for Woodside and their JVs. You will undertake project phase (inc. D&C and Subsea) specific materials management processes and capability, including purchasing, tracking, manifesting, daily inventory management/documenting on and offsite and disposal of all development materials.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Closely engage with Customs Agent to monitor processing of customs formalities and expert valuer’s report.
• Provide regular status update on materials stored at the Supply Base to Senegal Material Coordinator and Disposal Coordinator in Perth.
• Regular engagements with Port Customs Authorities for compliant loadout and backload management.
• Monitor and report whether all aspects of logistics activities, including those related to dangerous goods, customs and taxes are conducted in accordance with the Company defined logistics standards and local regulatory requirements.
• Maximises Performance: Plans activities and prioritises resources to deliver on business plans; sets clear goals and holds people to account; develops and coaches people to perform to their best; visibly recognises team performance, measures progress and celebrates success.
  
  
  

Skills & Experience:

• 5 – 10 years oil and gas or mining logistics experience. Domestic and international logistics experience advantageous;
• A high level (skilled) of logistics competencies in supply chain management including systems and processes;
• Comprehensive understanding of and commitment to safety principles and procedures;
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team;
• Good knowledge and understanding of the Kabal and SAP MM systems would be ideal.
• Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint (skilled).
• Ability to organise and coordinate resources in an operational environment.
